14. The Mirage – 3,044 Rooms

When it opened in 1989, the Mirage hotel was the most expensive resort in the world ever built, costing more than $600 million due to its massive size.

15. The Cosmopolitan – 3,027 Rooms
The Cosmopolitan opened in December 2010 with a 50-story East Tower and a 52-story West Tower. The hotel only had 1,998 rooms at that time, ranging from 730 to 5,400 sq. ft.
After being acquired by Blackstone Group in 2014, the Cosmo has undergone several changes bringing us the current hotel.
