Lazy Rivers in Las Vegas
Mandalay Bay
Mandalay Bay has the largest pool complex on the Las Vegas Strip. Measuring over 11 acres, it has a river pool, adult pool and lagoon pool, as well as two lagoon pools. A unique feature to Vegas, Mandalay Bay’s pool incorporates 2,700 tons of real sand, so you’ll feel like you are in a tropical paradise.
The lazy river at Mandalay Bay is smaller in comparison to the other hotels in Las Vegas. Despite the size, this quarter mile long lazy river still offers plenty of fun for the family. Whilst the lazy river is on the small side, this pool complex makes up for it with a fantastic wave pool and an adult-only area.
Guests of Mandalay Bay, Four Seasons, and Delano get free access to enter the Mandalay Bay pool complex. Unfortunately, people who aren’t guests can’t enter the complex and use the lazy pool. However, you can rent a lounge chair, cabana, or daybed to gain entry without being a guest.
Another downside to Mandalay Bay is that the inflatable tubes are not free. You either need to bring your own tube or purchase one in the gift shop for $20.
If you get hungry or thirsty during your visit to their lazy river, there is Beach Bar and Grill that has an extensive take-out menu that includes everything from light snacks to full meals. This child friendly spot is a great place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner between aquatic fun.

MGM Grand
The MGM Grand has the second biggest pool complex of any Las Vegas hotel located on the Strip. MGM Grand features 8 pools in their aquatic complex, including a lazy river, 4 swimming pools and 3 whirlpools.
MGM Grand is home to the longest lazy river on the Vegas strip. At almost the double the size of the lazy river at Mandalay Bay, the pool complex is a bit smaller but still incredibly fun. Rooms at the MGM are more cost efficient than Mandalay Bay, so if you’re looking for a more budget friendly hotel with a lazy river, we recommend this spot.
Guests of both the MGM Grand and MGM Signature can access the pool complex for no added cost. Unfortunately, non-guests cannot use the MGM pool and there are no day passes available. Tubes are not provided by the resort, but you can purchase for around $20 at the gift shop. Please note that if you want to bring your own, only circular tubes are allowed.
Private pools at the Signature at MGM Grand feature a private heated pool complete with cabanas and poolside cocktail service. From here, you can access the MGM Grand Pool Complex and the lazy river. Guests can also enjoy 54,000 square feet of saltwater pools, dipping pools, cabanas, daybeds and parties.

Tahiti Village
Tahiti Village is located about 5 minutes south and less than miles away from the Vegas Strip. This resort is the most family-friendly on this list and is very affordable for those traveling on a budget. This whole area encompasses over 18,000sqft of pool decking with numerous thatch umbrellas and lounge chairs for maximum comfort.
The all-suite resort has a fantastic range of amenities, including a well-appointed spa, well-equipped fitness center, activities centers, Wiki Wiki shop and bar/restaurant area. The Tahiti themed pool area has a sandy beach, and the lazy river features a beautiful cascading waterfall feature. Slowly float past four stunning waterfalls as you keep cool on the lazy river passage.
With 3 pools there is a large main pool and a 1/8 of mile lazy river, making it the longest on our list, as well as an adult only hot tub area. The Tahiti Village pools, including the lazy river, are heated to 80 degrees in winter and mid-70s during the summer months.
Only hotel guests can access the Tahiti Village pool area and you can’t buy a day pass. All of the tubes are supplied for free by the resort.

Is the lazy river free at Mandalay Bay?
The Lazy River is free for guests staying at the Mandalay Bay hotel. You can bring your own inner tubes or buy one at the pool complex. All tubes must be circular, under 48″ and have an unobstructed path to swim through.
Is the MGM lazy river open year-round?
Yes, the lazy river at the MGM is available all year round. Vegas is generally warm all year round, especially in the daytime, so there is always a want for guests to have a relaxing float of a lazy river.
Do I need to bring my own innertube?
It is not a requirement of using a lazy river, although it is a popular choice. You can just relax in the water without the need for a flotation aid.
If you are heading to the Mandalay Bay or MGM Grand and want to use an innertube, you will have to bring your own. The gift shops do sell them, but they are usually more expensive than picking them up in Walmart, Target or online. Some Vegas hotels have strict rules about the types of inflatables allowed in and the size permitted so please check before bringing your own.
Does the Bellagio have a lazy river?
No, the Bellagio does not have a lazy river. The Bellagio does have a Mediterranean inspired al fresh poolside experience with five distinctive pool courtyards, a garden vistas café, private cabanas, and poolside massage treatments. So, while it is worth a visit, to indulge in outdoors luxury, there is no lazy river to be found.
Is there an age limit to use the lazy rivers in Las Vegas?
No, there is no age limit to use the lazy rivers. Some locations will require there to be an adult guardian if the child is under a certain age. Pool areas may be closed off for pool parties where no one under 21 will be allowed in. Check the website to see the rules and regulations before booking if this is a concern to you.
