Le Village buffet was closed temporarily alongside other buffets in Las Vegas due to the 2020 Corona Virus guidelines & recommendations put in place by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention as well as the Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD).

The shift to temporary closure began with MGM Resorts International in March 2020 when the company decided to temporarily close the Aria Buffet, Buffet at Bellagio, Buffet at Mirage, Luxor Buffet, Buffet at Excalibur, Mandalay Bay Buffet, and the MGM Grand Buffet.

MGM Resorts International has since reopened the Luxor Buffet, Buffet at Excalibur, MGM Grand Buffet, and Buffet at Bellagio.

Caesars Entertainment, the company that owns & operates Paris Las Vegas, is yet to follow suit and reopen Le Village Buffet.

Caesars Entertainment management wasn’t quick to close their buffets in 2020, and they showed their resolve by incorporating staff that eliminated the need for the buffet guests to touch the utensils.

The progressively hygienic change began with Caesars’s Wynn Las Vegas Resort, and the method was applied to all of their buffets across the Strip. However, they eventually had to temporarily close like the MGM International resorts when the pandemic worsened.

The closure also allowed Caesars Entertainment to perform renovations and upgrades to meet safer health and quality standards. Caesars is yet to announce the opening of Le Village Buffet, and the buffet remains temporarily closed till further notice.
