JW Marriott

The new JW Marriott is set to up in 2023 on the North Strip property known as the Fontainebleu. This unfinished spot was supposed to open in 2008 but those plans were disrupted by the recession. It has undergone lots of different name changes and plans, but it looks like it may open in 2023!

JW Marriott will have more than 3,700 rooms and suites and at least 500,000 square feet of meeting and convention space. At 735 feet, it’s the tallest building in Vegas if you don’t count the Strat.

The unfinished 63-story hotel has been sitting on the north end of the Las Vegas Strip for years, but we are looking forward to seeing it opening soon. We are expecting to see retail, spa, nightlife, pool, casino, and restaurant experiences.

Horseshoe

More than 70 years after the first Horseshoe casino appeared in downtown Las Vegas, the iconic brand is returning to the center of the Strip. Thanks to a multi-million-dollar renovation, Bally’s Las Vegas is transforming into the Horseshoe Casino.

This new spot will be home to the World Series of Poker, leaving Rio after nearly a decade. The poker room, casino, and public areas will undergo huge renovations. The 2,810 guest rooms will stay untouched.

In front of the Horseshoe, a new entertainment venue connected to county singer and The Voice coach Blake Shelton named Ole Red will open at the Grand Bazaar Shops. This means the Horseshoe should become an exciting new spot for entertainment seekers heading to Las Vegas.
