Palms Casino closed on March 2020 as per the Nevada law orders. Several Vegas casinos opened a few months later, but Palms faced some financial challenges that led to Red Rock selling the venue to San Manuel Band. The purchasing price was a whopping $650 million.

The band renovated the casino, which led to the closure of some restaurants and the introduction of new ones. Currently, the most popular place for food in Palms Casino is their A.Y.C.E. buffet which was nominated for the 2022 Reader’s Choice Awards.
