Planet Hollywood is one of the many casinos that has opted out of the free parking options. In a statement to the press, the management said, “To ensure parking is easily accessible and reserved for resort guests, we have decided to move to paid parking.”

However, there are still a good number of casinos in Las Vegas that can get you free parking. These casinos include TI, Casino Royale, Circus Circus, and Sahara Las Vegas.

We will talk about the parking fees in the Planet Hollywood garage for both self-parking and valet. The charges apply to guests and are paid based on the number of hours you pack at the premises.

Planet Hollywood Self-Parking Fees

Self-parking is complimentary/free for anyone with a Caesars Rewards players’ card on three levels; Platinum, Diamond, and Seven Star. There is no longer free parking for registered hotel guests, meaning guests and non-guests alike have to pay the standard parking fees.

Also, unlike other Caesars Entertainment resorts, Nevada Locals are not eligible for free 3-hour parking.

The self-parking rates are as follows:

Day Hours Self- Parking Fees
Monday – Thursday First Hour Free
1 – 3 Hours $18
3 – 24 Hours $20
Daily Max $20
Friday – Sunday First Hour Free
1 – 3 Hours $25
3 – 24 Hours $25
Daily Max $25

Here are a few pros and cons of self-parking at Planet Hollywood:

Pros:

  • It is cheaper than valet parking.
  • You get to choose where to park.
  • There are no extra charges like tipping the valet drivers.
  • It is free off charge for Caesars Reward members and registered hotel guests.

Cons:

  • If you do not check in your luggage at the bell desk then you will have to carry it all the way through the mall into the casino or registration desk.
  • Nevada locals do not get free parking.
  • Events and Holidays will significantly increase the parking fees.
  • Valet parking is more convenient and trustworthy than self-parking.

Valet Parking at Planet Hollywood

Valet Parking is more expensive than self-parking but is very convenient especially when your schedule is tight or you want the simplicity of the process.

Some related casinos and hotels in Las Vegas only charge valet parking since it is hard to do away with paid valet parking but some do still offer the free service such as Fashion Show Mall, The Shops at Crystals, and The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.

Valet at Planet Hollywood costs $40 (daily fee) from Monday to Sunday. Hotel guests have in and out privileges but non-hotel guests have to pay the $40 per entry.

Tipping is customary for valets which will add to the expenses of valet parking. However, the tipping costs are low with most people giving Planet Hollywood valet service drivers about $5.

The good thing is that the valet prices are set and you do not have to tip more unless you want to. Remember that valet service drivers will usually expect more tips from drivers of luxury vehicles even though it is not mandatory.

Valet Parking Fees:

Parking Time Valet Parking Fees
Monday – Sunday $40 (daily per entry for non-registered hotel guests)
Monday – Sunday $40 (daily fee for hotel guests, billed to room)

Valet parking at Planet Hollywood means that you will not need to check in the luggage at the bell desk as in self-parking. It also gives you a convenient way to get into Planet Hollywood without walking a lot from the garage.

Choose to pay for self-parking if you want to save a buck but opt for valet to do less walking and save some time.

Here are other pros and cons to consider for valet parking at Planet Hollywood:

Pros:

  • Valet is less tedious for large groups unlike self-parking.
  • Valet parking prices at Planet Hollywood do not change during events or holidays.
  • It is more trustworthy and safer than self-parking.

Cons:

  • Valet parking may take up your time when you are in a hurry to get to your vehicle.
  • Tipping the valet driver increases the parking fees.

Planet Hollywood Parking Directions

It’s easy to get to the Planet Hollywood Parking garage if you are from The Strip. You will want to head north from The Strip (Las Vegas Boulevard) and turn right into Harmon Avenue. Stay on the left side of the lane on Harmon Avenue and take the first left when you get to Planet Hollywood Way. You will be able to see the garage on your left where the valet entrance is.

You will then drive through the valet entrance if you want to park your vehicle. Proceed to first leave your luggage at the bell desk on your way to the garage. The reason for leaving your luggage at the bell desk is to ensure you do not have to carry heavy bags through the mall when you leave for the casino and registration desk.
